There is no much analysis you can do using the planning request. The reason being that in a planning cube the request is always open ( in yellow state) and gets completed only when it reach 50000 records. And therefore its not possible to keep a track how the data is getting filled in the planning cube.
Idealy its always better that you manualy close ( or through process chain) the yellow request before a running a planning sequence. By doing this you can specifically note down which request the planning sequence has created. If you want to revert back the data loaded through this planning sequence you can very well delete this new request which has got generated.
