We are in a implementing of Project system and integration with ECC Modules. I am MM consultant and facing problem in integration of PS and MM. How to handle surplus material which is left when project is completed.
Scenario:
Procurement is being carried out for the project, as project is valuated, so we have immediate access to its value in Financial Accounting. The assigned accounts are debited and credited as a result of the valuated goods movement. Problem occurs when project is finished and we have some material in our hands left. And want to charge it for the project for which project it had been procured. And then transfer it to non-valuated plant which in-turn will use in future without value, as cost already been incurred to its initial project. Unfortunately we are facing error (dump) while transferring from project (valuated) to project (non-valuated) i.e. 415 Q.
It’s is coming on all that material for whom accounting view was maintained in non-valuated plant. For those material whose accounting view is not maintained system is not giving any error. As we have thousands of material for which accounting view already maintained, and we can’t delete the accounting view as well once it is created.
When we transfer material from valuated project to non-valuated project system is posting the document. But when transfer from non-valuated plant to different project, system is giving dump.

When we transfer it from project to project i.e. 415 Q it is giving dump, if the material have accounting view maintained in non valuated plant. If not then system is allow to transfer.
