Re: Affordable Care Act (ACA)

Thanks for the update Marty.

I misinterpreted your situation then.  We don't need to add any additional companies/EINs, so now I'm worried.  Once I updated UBATA to make each tax company it's own transmitter, all the other's ALE members dropped off of part IV on the 1094C.

Maybe someone can explain it to me as it seems I don't understand.  Our situation is we have 11 tax companies each have their own EIN.  As I understand it, each tax company is a reporting ALE and each tax company is a transmitting ALE.  They are all part of an aggregated ALE group.

So when I print the 1094C form, from what I understand so far is lines 18 and 20 should match, line 19 is checked on all 11 1094C forms, and line 21 is checked on all 11 1094C forms.  Part III correlates to the totals on lines 18/20 and Part IV should contain all the other 10 ALE members associated with the 11th in part I.

In reality, lines 18 and 20 are matching, line 19 is checked, BUT line 21 is checked no and part IV is completely empty.  So has anyone else ran into this situation with the 1094C form?

Garrett
