You need to know what kind of issues you get for your reports in production .
For instance if live report refresh is not happening ? Data in the report is invalid, ?. What do you do ? .Your troubleshooting skills will help to go with those W questions. Because production is critical . You need to have documents of your reports and modules as mentioned by niraj (HLD and LLD ).
