delete item segments and sub segments from internal table

Hi Team,

I have got a requirement to check for the idoc item segments if the count is greater than 499 then only i need to create another idoc for different message type.

Now, In one Internal table t_idoc_data,  i am getting all the idoc_data ( ORDERS05) header and item data. To split the idocs based on line count 499.I am trying to delete the line item segments and sub segments

Is there any way to delete line item segments and sub segments .Also i need to delete from starting line item segment to 499 line item segment including subsegments.
